Congrats to our Zoosk couple of the day Sarah and Erik from Austin, Texas! They met on Zoosk and are now happily married. Sarah wrote us to share her romantic success story:
Hi! My name is Sarah and I’m from Austin, Texas. I had been on Zoosk since 2008 and had almost given up hope when Erik and I started talking last December 22nd. He’s a captain in the army and has served for 10 years, deployed twice. I never thought he was going to be my husband! Shortly after we met, I became very ill with a series of kidney stones, went into kidney failure in May, and almost died and through all of the surgeries. Through the constant emergency room visits this amazing man stayed by my side through the whole thing. He slept by my side in a hospital chair for a whole week when I was admitted and never left. I have never in my life had somebody take care of me the way he takes care of me. Two days after I was finally back at home recovering, he went out and got me a ring, got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife while laying in bed. I was totally shocked!! That was May 10th and we were married on The Big Island of Hawaii June 28th where I was born. I have never been happier and it was the best decision I have ever made.
