Show Must Go On: Fans of the rom-com series, The Mindy Project, were devastated to learn that it won’t be returning next season. However, its star/creator/producer, Mindy Kaling, didn’t appear to be that upset when the news broke. Kaling shared a video on her Instagram and Twitter accounts that showed a stunning panorama of woodsy greenery before landing on herself as she gives a wink and a smirk. The caption read: “Hey guys, I’m in Montana, is anything happening in LA?” Rumor has it that the former FOX sitcom will continue on Hulu. If so, fans will be able to see how Kaling’s onscreen romance — and pregnancy — with Chris Messina will end. Hopefully, happily.
Royal Baby: Now that Princess Charlotte is finally here, her parents, Prince William and Princess Kate, finally have the family they’ve always wanted. A family friend tells People Magazine that the regal couple feel they are in the “golden period” of their lives, which extends to all members of the Royal Family. In fact, it looks like Britain’s favorite couple might be extending the family in the future. “They’ve been looking forward to having a family,” the friend says. “They enjoy family life and seeing it among their friends’ families – that’s why I think they will have a third.” Well, an extra “spare” is always a good thing.
Super Love: Looks like Marvel superheroes Loki and Scarlett Witch — a.k.a. Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen — are creating a bit of magic offscreen. “They have been hooking up,” an insider tells US Magazine of the longtime friends, who became closer while shooting upcoming movie musical I Saw the Light, in which they play husband and wife. Although the pair are keeping it casual for now, they are making sure to “text while they’re apart.” Olsen recently broke off her engagement from Boyd Holbrook, so she’s “having fun.”
Baby Bump Debut: Just a week after former Sports Illustrated model/actress Brooklyn Decker announced her pregnancy on Instagram, the hot mama-to-be stepped out with her husband (and tennis pro) Andy Roddick for a good cause. The cute couple attended the 10th Annual Andy Roddick Foundation Gala, which Roddick started nearly 15 years ago to expand opportunities for young people in low-income communities. Decker is currently playing a mother on the new Neflix show, Grace and Frankie, where we’re sure she’s able to practice her mothering skills before the real deal is delivered later this year.
Love of Her Life: Charlize Theron may have recently opened up to Elle Magazine about Sean Penn being the “love of my life,” but that doesn’t mean working together is always easy. Penn recently directed Theron in her new film, The Last Face, and Theron tells the magazine of the experience: “There were times when I was incredibly unfair to him. And moments where I felt like… he was incredibly unfair to me. But it makes you realize that no matter how complicated it gets–the priority is the relationship.” She added: “Putting aside that he’s my partner, he’s the love of my life.” The pair are rumored to be engaged, and Penn is in the process of legally adopting Theron’s son, Jackson.
