Believe It or Not, Being a Star Wars Fan Helps You Get a Date

New movies are coming out, new characters are being introduced, and as if things couldn’t be any better for Star Wars fans right now, thanks to a new study out May the 4th, we know that being a Star Wars fan can actually help you get a date.

Ya, really.

The popular dating site Zoosk took a look into the over 3 million messages sent daily on its site, and found two very interesting data points:

1. Messages that mention “Star Wars” get 60% more responses than average.

2. Messages that mention “May the force be with you” get 22% more responses.

So even if you’re not on a Star Wars dating site, bringing up the popular movies in any online dating message can help you start a conversation and get you that much closer to a date.

And though Zoosk’s study didn’t look into all these phrases, we thought this May the 4th was the perfect time to scrape the internet for some fun Star Wars pickup lines to help you get a date (or at the very least, a good laugh) as you look for love among your fellow fans.
