Hey ladies, my name is Amy North and I am a relationship coach from Vancouver, Canada.

Today, I want to share with you some powerful tips for catching and holding a man’s attention. Now, you may be thinking that this is an easy task. But you’d be surprised how often I get asked questions or read horror stories of attempts gone wrong. To help you avoid a disaster, I’ve come up with three keys tips to keep you on the right path when it comes to getting noticed by a guy, both on and offline.

Now, lets get rolling.

1. Be comfortable in your own skin.
Take a moment to think about what types of women you typically consider attractive. You’re probably thinking about supermodel type women with flawless skin, beautiful hair, and legs that last for days. Well, the truth is that being attractive actually has little to do with your physical looks and much more to do with the message you send out to the world. And that’s that you’re confident. When you learn how to send the message that you’re comfortable in your own skin, men will notice you.

To boost your confidence, it’s important that you make positive self-talk a habit, and learn to love yourself for who you are. Sure it may take you a bit of time to become 100% satisfied with 100% of your body, but until then, fake it until you make it. And make a point to focus on building up your bold, beautiful self. After all, confidence is the opposite of desperation. So keep yourself busy and show him that you have a full and happy life.

2. Be approachable.
This is similar to my previous point, but it’s important enough to get its own segment in this video. Since men fear rejection, it’s important that you’re sending off the right message, and that’s that you are in fact a positive, approachable person. The kind of woman who’d be happy to strike up a conversation with someone new. Just as you wouldn’t want to start a conversation with someone who seems to be in a terrible mood or angry at the world. Neither do men. To avoid this from happening, it’s important that you make note of your body language, and make sure that you’re sending a welcoming message out to the world. Again, easier said than done. But practice does make perfect.

3. Don’t be too available.
One of the biggest mistakes women make when they start to develop feelings for a man is that they become too available. Since it’s natural to want to see or talk to the person you’ve been thinking about, it makes sense that this is such a common mistake. The problem here is that when you become too available, he doesn’t have to work for your time or attention. Instead, you’re just ready and willing to give him your time. When this happens, he’ll notice that you don’t have much going on in your life outside of him, and it’ll send him running for the hills. Or at least, make him lose interest. Instead, it’s important that you keep doing the things that you enjoy, and show him that he’s not the only thing in your life. To do this, don’t sit around and wait for him to message you. And if he calls you to make last minute plans, tell him you’re busy. Even if you have nothing going on that night, making it known that you won’t be readily waiting for him at the drop of a hat shows him that he needs to make a greater effort when it comes to pursuing you. This may sound counter-productive, but believe me it’s a powerful way to hold his attention.
